Three Children Died in One Day

My great grandmother was born in Poland in 1858. She had ten children — at least, ten that I can verify with documentation. Her husband — my great grandfather — died when some of the children were still young. My grandfather is one of those children.

My mother says she remembers her father — my grandfather — telling the story that three of his siblings died in one day from typhoid, or something like that. I have found documentation on one child who died at 5 years old — unfortunately, it doesn’t say how she died. My grandfather passed away in 1965, so I cannot ask him about it.
